on second thought: there is one difference between the computers i didn't mention: the notebook hast ipv6 connectivity, the workstation doesn't, though that should not be relevant for all servers, as it seems at least one of the servers doesn't have a AAAA record. yours, albert ps: having looked through the file i haven't seen any passwords, i hope i'm correct...
