Package: apt-listchanges Version: 2.85.8 Severity: normal I have both apt-listchanges and apt-listbugs installed and set up to run automatically before upgrades, using the standard mechanism (apt.conf.d files adding entries to DPkg::Pre-Install-Packages). apt-listchanges happens after apt-listbugs. In this setup, apt-listchanges only displays the change logs for packages about which apt-listbugs reported at least one critical bug (and then I continued the installation despite the bug, of course). If there are no such packages, apt-listchanges shows nothing.
Before I installed apt-listbugs, apt-listchanges would show all the change logs for the current upgrade, which is the behavior I want. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.39-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages apt-listchanges depends on: ii apt 0.8.14.1 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.39 Debian configuration management sy ii debianutils 4.0.1 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii python 2.6.6-14 interactive high-level object-orie ii python-apt 0.8.0 Python interface to libapt-pkg ii python-support 1.0.13 automated rebuilding support for P ii ucf 3.0025+nmu2 Update Configuration File: preserv Versions of packages apt-listchanges recommends: ii exim4 4.76-2 metapackage to ease Exim MTA (v4) ii exim4-daemon-light [mail-tran 4.76-2 lightweight Exim MTA (v4) daemon Versions of packages apt-listchanges suggests: ii chromium [www-brows 11.0.696.71~r86024-1 Chromium browser ii epiphany-browser [w 2.30.6-2 Intuitive GNOME web browser ii gnome-terminal [x-t 2.30.2-1 The GNOME terminal emulator applic ii iceweasel [www-brow 4.0.1-2 Web browser based on Firefox ii python-glade2 2.24.0-2 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gtk2 2.24.0-2 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge -- debconf information: * apt-listchanges/frontend: pager * apt-listchanges/confirm: true * apt-listchanges/which: both * apt-listchanges/email-address: * apt-listchanges/save-seen: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
