Package: Bootstrap installer for Iconnect with Marvell CPU
Version: no version available in list from

http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/stable/main/installer-armel/current/images/kirkwood/netboot/marvell/openrd/

Starting the installer will run into a catch22 because the
networkinstall will fail while the nic could not initialize .

The it works not with manual configuration also not with DHCP

I found out that ist might have to do with a bug in the Kernel from
this version.

"Ethernet Connection for debian installation - Important!!! you MUST
use Gigabit Ethernet!!! due to a bug in the Debian Install Kernel"

found on http://diogogomes.com/2010/11/14/debian-install-iconnect/

I tried to load the Kernel from flash with the bootstrap installer an
the the network will configure okay.

But therefore it will run into incompatible modules with this
Kernelversion inside the flash compare to the modules on the debian
server.

There must exist a bugfix because the Kernel inside the flash will
work with the NIC.

A good freind told me if there is a bug and nobody report it the bug
will never be fixed. Sorry about my shiftless bugreport but I tried my
best. Hope get better in future.

Du you need a bootlog or something ?

Best regards Martin
