Following bug #620351, amarok stills crash here. Modestas Vainius wrote "External DB issue was also fixed in 2.4.1 Beta 1. [3] seems to support this my assertion. [3] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=620351#20 ". I have now 2.4.1 but amarok still crashes if in ~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc I set UseServer=true in section [MySQL] - while it works (but on a local db) when reset to UseServer=false.
