Package: udisks Version: 1.0.2-4 Severity: normal I can't remember exactly when this stopped working, only that I remember a time when it did work. At some point 'udisks' get updated and now my Sansa Fuze is detected with a garbage volume label. Windows and Mac OS X detect this device correctly.
Here's the dmesg output on insertion: ---- hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 2 usb 1-2: new high speed USB device number 5 using ehci_hcd usb 1-2: New USB device found, idVendor=0781, idProduct=74c3 usb 1-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 usb 1-2: Product: SanDisk Sansa Fuze usb 1-2: Manufacturer: SanDisk usb 1-2: SerialNumber: 870DFE122842B6A80000000000000000 usbcore: registered new interface driver uas Initializing USB Mass Storage driver... scsi6 : usb-storage 1-2:1.0 usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage USB Mass Storage support registered. scsi 6:0:0:0: Direct-Access SanDisk Sansa Fuze 4GB v02.
