Hi, this bug is not related to uswsusp and should be forwarded. The bug is created by the HPA and the linux kernel disk access.
More info can be found here: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Hidden_Protected_Area (...) Problems caused by the HPA Resuming from suspend As of Linux 2.6.18, having a HPA may cause errors when resuming the laptop from suspend-to-RAM or suspend-to-disk. See the section called "SectorIdNotFound disk errors when laptop is resumed" in ACPI suspend problems. (...) And here: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6840 The bug is closed in the kernel report in the bugzilla.kernel.org link. Anyway, IMHO the bug should be forwarded to the kernel group (is kernel related) because other packages, like "hibernate" are affected too. If the bug was solved, the kernel group should close it, because if the bug needs to be reopened, then it will affect to the other packages.
