Package: gimp
Version: 2.2.8-7
Severity: wishlist

When we are exiting, if we are asked if we want to discard changes, we
notice the underlined D. Well plain "d" doesn't work. One must hit
ALT-d. Needing to also hold down ALT takes much of the short out of
this cut...

Compare the icewm menus. ALT is not required once inside the main
menu...

Anyway, there may be indeed few times in gimp when ALT would be
necessary to distinguish between text input and shortcut selection.

But OK, to keep the interface consistent I see why ALT is required.

However at the "discard changes" question, it seemed kind of
laborious.

Hmmm, maybe say "discard changes(d)" along with the underline at
front... OK never mind.
