After the following steps, approx doesn't start because
/var/cache/approx isn't there:
(starting with clean system)
apt-get install approx
(works great!)
apt-get --purge remove approx
(approx user and group remain but /var/cache/approx is removed)
apt-get install approx
(/var/cache/approx isn't created so approx doesn't start)
I believe that the approx.postinst script should double-check for the
existence of /var/cache/approx and not rely on adduser.
