Package: munin-node Version: 1.2.3-1 Severity: important If the last shutdown of munin-node was unclean and didn't remove the PID-file, the init script fails on both, "restart" and "start". With restart, it fails on the stop operation (because the PID file refers to a non-existant instance of munin-node). With start, it fails because the init script thinks that munin-node is still running.
Note that the failure on restart violates LSB (an etch release target), since LSB says that restart should stop an existing instance if it exists and start a new instance afterwards.
