Package: tetzle Version: 1.2.1-1 Severity: important The state of Tetzle is problematic. In Debian 6.0 execution is irregularly, but rather frequently, interrupted by crashes. In Debian Testing the program is completely unusable, not being able to render the window correctly.
I have one guess that the libxcb family be responsible in some way. I do not understand how and why, the guess arises from independent comments on failing assertions. When using Debian 6.0, the crashes occur as the result of failing runtime assertions, like: tnl/t_draw.c:398: _tnl_draw_prisms: Assertion "ctx->NewState == 0x0" is false. They commonly occur when moving the overview window. Most often when it has been enlarged, and is moved, but sometimes also in its initial state. It even happens that a crash is triggered when switching to another virtual desktop, and then returning. It really should not matter, but I observe all this when using wmii, my regular window manager.
