Hi, The fix proposed for particular case on this BTS is very good and should be implimented ASAP.
But there may be other cases which causes bi-stable like instability inherent to TeX. I just with we can stop this infiniteloop at one point if we wish. I remember that we used to use 3 times and stop for some documentation package building. Just adding feature to limit repeat to n times will be nice. Regards.
