Hi Mattias, being a LCG Tier2 admin it's of course handy that fetch-crl is already configured out of the box towards grid (e.g. having CRLDIR=/etc/grid-security/certificates). However, in principle it's general and not a grid-specific tool, so I'd suggest to remove the grid-specific stuff (especially the default /etc/grid-security/certificates). Not sure whether there should be a default location at all (but what happens if none is set? / searched for certs?!). I personally would suggest to have fetch-crl deactivated per default.
