Package: rpcbind Version: 0.2.0-6 Severity: wishlist
Hi. For some use cases it is fully enough if rpcbind binds to loopback. It would be nice if this is configurable, e.g. via debconf and a /etc/default/rpcbind file, as it was/is with portmap. I personally would also suggest this to be the default,... but others wanting a more *buntu/everything-works-out-of-the-box (but might therefore be insecure) like approach may disagree.
