Package: xmlstarlet
Version: 1.0.6-1
Severity: minor

There are inconsistencies in the documentation due to the rename of
the binary from xml to xmlstarlet (this was reported in the MacPorts
users mailing-list, and I've found that Debian has the same problem):
  * In the xmlstarlet(1) man page:
Type: xml <command> --help <ENTER> for command help
This should be "xmlstarlet <command> ...".
  * In /usr/share/doc/xmlstarlet/xmlstarlet* files: same kind of
    problems.

Note: debian/rules has

# Rename the binary xml -> xmlstarlet
override_dh_auto_install:
        dh_auto_install
        mv $(CURDIR)/debian/xmlstarlet/usr/bin/xml
$(CURDIR)/debian/xmlstarlet/usr/bin/xmlstarlet

while MacPorts uses the --program-transform-name configure option.
I would say that the configure option may be preferred (in case it
would be a cleaner way to update the documentation too), but I'm not
sure...
