Package: git
Version: 1:1.7.4.1-5
Severity: normal

"git log filename -p" results in this message:

fatal: bad flag '-p' used after filename

Since git can see that I've given it a flag, why complain rather than
just accepting that flag? I frequently want to re-run a previous
command with additional flags, and I shouldn't have to go back and
insert them at the beginning of the command when I can much more easily
do so at the end.
