One open issue is where to install the header and library files for the plugin development. Currently the paths /usr/i586-mingw32msvc/include respectively /usr/i586-mingw32msvc/lib are used for that. In my opinion it should follow the Multiarch approach (http://wiki.debian.org/Multiarch). However I have not yet figured out how to implement this for win32.
