Package: backintime-gnome Version: 1.0.6-1 Severity: normal
Hi, I just tried to make a backup, based on an older snapshot from November. On the first run backintime told me about an update to the config because of a version change, afterwards it failed with an rsync error. The backintime log says: ========== Take snapshot (profile 1): Do 31 Mär 2011 14:36:17 CET ========== [E] Error: rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4 bytes to socket [sender]: Broken pipe (32) [E] Konnte Snapshot 31.03.2011 14:36:17 nicht erstellen !!! When I add a fresh profile with similar settings, backintime works fine. The backup target disk is on USB: /dev/sdg1 on /media/Backup type ext4 (rw,nosuid, nodev, uhelper=udisks) A manual rsync runs through with this error message, but that is probably not related? rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1060) [sender=3.0.7] Thanks for your work! -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'squeeze-updates'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'stable'), (10, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages backintime-gnome depends on: ii backintime-common 1.0.6-1 simple backup/snapshot system ii menu 2.1.45 generates programs menu for all me ii python 2.6.6-3+squeeze6 interactive high-level object-orie ii python-glade2 2.17.0-4 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gnome2 2.28.1-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python-gtk2 2.17.0-4 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-notify 0.1.1-2+b2 Python bindings for libnotify ii python-support 1.0.11 automated rebuilding support for P Versions of packages backintime-gnome recommends: ii meld 1.4.0-2 graphical tool to diff and merge f ii nautilus-actions 3.0.5-1 nautilus extension to configure pr backintime-gnome suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
