Hi there, I've installed the versions of the packages that you described to a virtual machine here and I can't reproduce this bug. Do you still see it? If so, we can probably help you narrow the cause down further, but at the moment it's hard to work out what's going on without any sort of back-trace. (I note that g_param_spec_get_name is called in 14 different places in the code and it's not even clear that this is what was crashing the application).
I'm going to send an email to tag this report as "moreinfo", since at the moment it's not really possible for the maintainer to know whether the code is still broken, let alone how to fix it. But if you have more information, that'd be brilliant! Rupert
