Hi, I had the same problem and I solved it by editing
/var/lib/dpkg/info/shared-mime-info.postinst When you set "exit 0" at the beginning of the skript, it would not be run when you do apt-get upgrade and you can fetch all the Upgrades without the Error of shared-mime-info.... With this solution the bug isn't fixed but if you are lucky and the shared-mime-info is in your upgradelist and when it's replaced, the problem is realy solved.
