I'm still uncertain about this fix. The blacklisting of snd-aoa is not functioning as I would expect, i.e. adding lines:
blacklist snd-aoa blacklist snd-aoa-codec-tas blacklist snd-aoa-fabric-layout blacklist snd-aoa-i2sbus blacklist snd-aoa-soundbus to a file in /etc/modprobe.d/. And what would be the name of the file? blacklist.conf? As far as I know, this does not happen, not even the first module, snd-aoa, is blacklisted. I'm still depending on second hand information on this matter, as my own testing has paused because on another problem: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=616022 In the meantime, I hope that someone could confirm that the mechanism used, i.e. register-module -b, is working (and works as described above).
