Package: masqmail Version: 0.2.27-1.2 Severity: normal Hello,
when I start or stop masqmail, I got this message: $ sudo /etc/init.d/masqmail stop Stopping MTA (masqmail): debconf: unable to initialize frontend: Gnome debconf: (Unable to load Gnome -- is libgnome2-perl installed?) debconf: falling back to frontend: Dialog listen/queue. I don't have libgnome2-perl installed on my system, so the message is right, but I don't know why it calls debconf in the initd script in the first place. The error message is not harmful by itself, but it's a bit annoying and it gives the impression that the initd script tries to do something nasty beyond your back (maybe it doesn't, but that how it looks like). This might be related to #432793 althought I don't remember seeing the error message as described in this bug when shutdowning my laptop (maybe I didn't really look).
