I agree that this is a valid feature request. I'm not sure though whether it should be implemented within the cryptsetup package, or in a new package that uses and depends on cryptsetup. I remember that Jürgen Pabel developed something very similar to your request called tokentube (http://sourceforge.net/projects/tokentube/) I haven't checked it for years, but it seems like the project is still active. Maybe you should take a look at it and rephrase the bugreport into an ITP for tokentube if that's what you're searching for. greetings, jonas
