Package: inform Version: 6.31.1+dfsg-1ubuntu2 Severity: normal As pointed out in bug #440253, the standard library is still not available under a DFSG-free license.
However, lots of poking around makes me suspect this is unintentional more than anything else: there’s no reference to this that I can find, and I suspect it stems more from recent source releases being C only, and the fact that nothing has changed since the 6/11 release of the standard library. Hence, maybe worth getting in touch with Graham Nelson, if this is possible, and asking, if that’s his intention, for a new release under the APL 2.0? -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers maverick-updates APT policy: (500, 'maverick-updates'), (500, 'maverick-security'), (500, 'maverick') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.35-27-generic (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages inform depends on: ii libc6 2.12.1-0ubuntu10.2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib Versions of packages inform recommends: ii frotz [zcode-interpreter] 2.43-3 interpreter of Z-code story-files Versions of packages inform suggests: ii inform-docs 6.31.1+dfsg-1ubuntu2 documentation for the Inform inter ii inform-mode 1.5.8-3 Emacs mode for editing Inform file -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
