Thanks. That worked. For the sake of documenting the workaround in
this bugreport for future reference, here's what I did:
1. tried "tbp-importdsc gnustep-base_1.10.3-1.dsc", which failed
2. did "tla get [EMAIL PROTECTED]/gnustep-base--head--1.0"
2a. "cd gnustep-base--head--1.0--base-0"
3. edited {arch}/=tagging-method and removed .gdbinit from the
"precious" regexp
4. did "tla commit"
4a. "cd .."
5. "tbp-importdsc gnustep-base_1.10.3-1.dsc" then worked
