Package: gettext-el
Version: 0.14.5-2
Severity: normal

If I open a .pot file created with xml2pot, which contains UTF-8 text,
and a header like
"Content-Type: application/x-xml2pot; charset=UTF-8\n"
it will be opened as latin1

If I change the mime-type with "text/plain", it will load properly as
UTF-8.

Maybe po-compat.el should be corrected to also support this new
mimetype.

Hope this helps.
