Package: gettext-el Version: 0.14.5-2 Severity: normal
If I open a .pot file created with xml2pot, which contains UTF-8 text, and a header like "Content-Type: application/x-xml2pot; charset=UTF-8\n" it will be opened as latin1 If I change the mime-type with "text/plain", it will load properly as UTF-8. Maybe po-compat.el should be corrected to also support this new mimetype. Hope this helps. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages gettext-el depends on: ii emacs21 [emacsen] 21.4a-1 The GNU Emacs editor ii gettext 0.14.5-2 GNU Internationalization utilities gettext-el recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
