Same problem here,
wpasupplicant wants libpcsclite1, that wants pcscd, that wants hal.
I don't have any card reader.
pcscd will not use hal (but libudev) in the next upstream version of
pcsc-lite.
wpasupplicant should remove its dependency on libpcsclite1 in a next
version.
