Unfortunately, I don't know cdbs, but with an "ordinary" debian/rules,
the following lines in the build target suffice:
touch $(MANDIR)/berusky.pot
po4a -v -f debian/po4a.cfg
Where po4a.cfg looks something like:
[po_directory] debian/manpage/
[type: man] asclock.man $lang:debian/manpage/asclock.$lang.man \
add_$lang:?*debian/manpage/asclock.$lang.add opt:"-k 20"
As you can see, this works for all languages, no updates needed once
added.
