Package: cyrus21-imapd Version: 2.1.18-1 Severity: normal
There is a bug with cyrus that causes it to bounce mails with "message contains invalid header". This bug gets tickled by dspam so if you use dspam you see it quite a bit. You can see the description at http://asg.web.cmu.edu/archive/message.php?mailbox=archive.cyrus-devel&msg=1002 I backported their patch to cyrus21. Around line 670 of imap/lmtpengine.c, change the strlen comparison to be sizeof(buf)-3 instead of sizeof(buf)-2. I have tested this patch on my system and it appears to be working for me. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-pdav Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages cyrus21-imapd depends on: ii cyrus21-common 2.1.18-1 Cyrus mail system (common files) ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb3 3.2.9-22 Berkeley v3 Database Libraries [ru ii libsasl2 2.1.19-1.5 Authentication abstraction library ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7e-3 SSL shared libraries ii libwrap0 7.6.dbs-8 Wietse Venema's TCP wrappers libra -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
