Hi. AFAIU this is not yet done: It would be nice, if mke2fs could provide an auto-detect mode or something like this for setting sitrde and stripe-with. This should be possible by using device topology information and the information exported by DM/MD. At least for Linux Software RAID but maybe also for (supportding) hardware RAIDs. Perhaps it can also make sense to set (upper) limits on the block size, or at least give warnings if the block size is bigger than the RAID chunck size.
