The concerns I raised in the bug have still not been addressed. 1.) INSTALL.pgsql.txt needs to include the steps to create the database like the INSTALL.mysql.txt does. Yes this is an upstream file, as you point out, so if you don't want to fix it in the Debian package please forward the bug upstream. 2.) It would be useful if the upstream INSTALL.*.txt files mentioned to go to http://localhost/drupal6/install.php as you do in README.Debian. I'd like to see that fixed upstream as well. 3.) I had to install php5-pgsql by hand because the package's "php5-mysql | php5-pgsql" dependency had failed to pull it in. I'm not sure what to do about this but documenting the need to do this in README.Debian would be a good start.
