Package: gpointing-device-settings Version: 1.5.1-3 Severity: important Tags: squeeze
When the gdm login screen appears, some default touchpad settings are applied. When I log in I expect my personal touchpad settings to be applied immediately. Instead I have to open the "Pointing devices" dialog and change some settings in order to have all of my settings applied. I have tried to upgrade gpointing-device-settings and gnome-settings-daemon to the ones built from Sid source, but nothing changed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.35.3-i386 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gpointing-device-settings depends on: ii gconf2 2.28.1-6 GNOME configuration database syste ii libatk1.0-0 1.30.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.11.2-10 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcairo2 1.8.10-6 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.24-4 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.88-2.1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libfontconfig1 2.8.0-2.1 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.4.2-2.1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgconf2-4 2.28.1-6 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglib2.0-0 2.24.2-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgpds0 1.5.1-4 library for configuration of point ii libgtk2.0-0 2.20.1-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.28.3-1+squeeze1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libxi6 2:1.3-6 X11 Input extension library gpointing-device-settings recommends no packages. gpointing-device-settings suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
