The severity can be downgraded. The non-starting issue was a mis-configuration by me. After editing the services.conf, ipkungfu started fine.
The only error is this when it starts now, the application is very usable. /etc/init.d/ipkungfu restart Restarting iptables based firewall: ipkungfuUsing intrapositioned negation (`--option ! this`) is deprecated in favor of extrapositioned (`! --option this`).
