Hi Andrei, Thanks for the bug report. Your bug appears similar to bug 604112 [0]. Could you please rule out that it isn't simply your background-setting program failing to set the ESETROOT_PMAP_ID and _XROOTMAP_ID properties? Please see Emanuele Giaquinta's reply[1] for more information.
