Package: libimobiledevice1
Version: 1.0.2-1
Severity: normal
All libimobiledevice-utils are failing to attach to an iPad with iOS 4.2.1.
For example idevicesyslog fails with:
me@host:~$ idevicesyslog GNUTLS ERROR: A TLS fatal alert has been received.
usbmuxd_send: Error -1 when sending: Broken pipe
gvfsd fails with a more generic message:
Unhandled Lockdown error (-5).
Only idevicepair is working - pairing, unpairing and validating works.
It looks like I hit this known upstream bug [1] and I can confirm
getting it work by backporting the unstable version 1.0.4-2 to Squeeze.
