Package: reprepro
Version: 4.4.0-1
Severity: important

$ reprepro checkupdate
Missing 'MD5Sum' field in Release file './lists/gripper1_unstable_Release'!
There have been errors!

This is a recent problem since MD5 was dropped from Release files on Debian
mirrors.

It means that reprepro repositories can no longer update from any Debian
mirror
which is stalling all Emdebian development. This change would need to be
backported to Squeeze too.

reprepro manpage describes ignoring hashes but there is a problem that
although
reprepro is free to use MD5 internally, it needs to be possible to ignore
Release files which do not contain MD5 hashes themselves.
