It's the same issue as in bug #584974 [1]. Support for Cherry keyboards was added *after* Squeeze release so Squeeze will not detect that keyboard. It may enter Squeeze 6.0.1 in March. Meanwhile you can use the daily netinst images which should include already that fix. As the fix is very recent you may want to try with tomorrow's version.
