Package: sphinxsearch
Version: 0.9.9-6
Severity: normal

When starting the sphinxsearch daemon (searchd) through invoke-rc.d or
directly
/etc/init.d/sphinxsearch I get ERROR printed to the terminal. The daemon
starts correctly and binds to the correct port.
It appears to be a timing issue where it checks the pid file after running
the
start-stop-daemon and it's still empty at that point, leading to the
running_pid function returning an error. Once the script completes the pid
file has the correct pid of the server and the checks in the script will
complete successfully.
