Hi, mplayer 2:1.0~rc4.dfsg1-1 that just entered unstable seems to handle the files generated by ffmpeg2theora now. Maybe the bug should still be kept open though -- it would be nice if you could generate videos that play with mplayer that is in Debian squeeze?
