Package: xdg-utils Version: 1.1.0~rc1-1 Severity: normal I was about to post the same bug report. It's more generic than just galeon. xdg-open fails if BROWSER variable consist command with arguments (e.g. "/usr/bin/iceweasel -new-tab"). Previous version (1.0.2+cvs20100307-2) has been working just fine.
