Package: sensible-utils Version: 0.0.6 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/sensible-browser
When run in a GNOME session sensible-browser chooses gnome-www-browser before x-www-browser. This leaves setting BROWSER or uninstalling epiphany as the only way to use an alternative browser eg iceweasel/firefox, but how to set environment variables in GNOME is quite an obscure topic. I think it would make more sense to choose x-www-browser before gnome-www-browser. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
