First try to delete your cache dir (usually $HOME/.moc/cache/*)
If that not helped: There is a version of moc availabel in
experimental:
$apt-cache policy moc
moc:
Installiert: 1:2.5.0~alpha4+svn20100921-1
Kandidat: 1:2.5.0~alpha4+svn20100921-1
Versionstabelle:

Save $HOME/.moc to $HOME/.moc.save
start moc and see what happens then. Often a
$ mv /usr/share/doc/$HOME/.moc/config.example.gz $HOME/.moc/config.gz | xargs
gunzip
helps.
Now it is your fault for systematicly test the advices and report
back.
BTW I will upload the lates svn release after the soon awaitet
