Hello Witold Baryluk! I somehow missed your initial bug report until now. Yesterday I forwarded it upstream and got the following reply:
" bsdtar has options to select more portable tar formats if you require it. Does --format=ustar or --format=gnutar work for you? Neither of these writers stores xattrs. " It would be nice if you could confirm this would suit your needs...
