Not really paying much attention to the issue here, but fwiw this happens
for all the letters I tried and some non-alphabets. eg.
orwell:/home/faheem# apt-spy -a
apt-spy: option requires an argument -- 'a'
Segmentation fault
orwell:/home/faheem# apt-spy -b
apt-spy: invalid option -- 'b'
Segmentation fault
orwell:/home/faheem# apt-spy -c
apt-spy: option requires an argument -- 'c'
Segmentation fault
orwell:/home/faheem# apt-spy -?
apt-spy: invalid option -- '?'
Segmentation fault
Debian squeeze, apt-spy 3.1-19.
