Package: mpt-status Version: 1.2.0-7 Severity: minor File: mpt-status The mpt-status executable might not detect a hardware RAID in your SCSI ID's correctly. In this case, "mpt-status -p" will fail to find the drive, and say "Nothing found, contact the author". The author e-mail address in the manpage (Roberto Nibali <r...@drugphish.ch>), doesn't exist (results in a delivery failure "550 No Such User Here").
The manpage should probably be updated, or the mpt-status tool should be updated to say something like "Nothing found, please report this as a bug (on the Debian bugtracker)". -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages mpt-status depends on: ii daemon 0.6.4-1 turns other processes into daemons ii libc6 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii lsb-base 3.2-23.2squeeze1 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip mpt-status recommends no packages.
