Sorry I don't quite get it... You mean pdf2ps can render dyna fonts w/o problem? Then all you have to do is just to use 'gv' to view the PDF files. (yes, gv uses ghostscript backend and reads PDF) You don't really need to bother converting pdf to ps back-n-forth. If so, that means your ghostscript is either BCI enabled or has a substitute font configured.
