TTBOMK there is currently no working code in tracker (or any external plugin) to
add support for thunderbird email indexing.

I asked the tracker developers and atm there are no plans to change that as most
of the tracker developers don't use thunderbird and such a plugin for
thunderbird is not trivial to implement.

As this really is an upstream issue, I'm linking this to an existing upstream
bug report. Further discussions should best follow up there.

Cheers,
Michael
