Package: inetutils-syslogd
Version: 2:1.8-3
Severity: wishlist

It is a common trait of all packages generated from Inetutils
that the Debian packages are built with manual pages that describe
the BSD forms of the corresponding executables, not the functionality
as is present in GNU Inetutils. The reason for this is

   debian/patches/01_revert_manpage_removal.patch

Please consider updating the manpages. The upstream source suggests
using "help2man" as the obvious shortcut, but this is not optimal.
Could one generate the correct manpages from the texinfo source
in an automatic manner? Upstream maintains only the Texinfo format.
