Hi, The supposed fix for this issue went into Debian linux-2.6 (2.6.32-10) -- it wasn't an issue in the apcupsd package itself.
But strangely I'm continuing to see this on 2.6.32-29, reproducibly: > [ 4.064170] generic-usb 0003:051D:0002.0001: hiddev0,hidraw0: USB > HID v1.10 Device [American Power Conversion Back-UPS BR 800 FW:9.o5 > . I currently have POLLTIME set to a rather low 10 seconds which may be triggering the bug more quickly. Or maybe this value is low enough that ctrl URBs are generated faster than they can time out, or something like that. I'll try debugging with usbmon after I can reboot the machine.
