Package: dynamite
Version: 0.1.1-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi Evgeni,

please find attached a source code file by Hans de Goede (CC:ed) of Red Hat
fame. It allows for extraction of custom id software archives, which contain
some custom headers and then the actual files compressed using dynamite
compression. It was originally created for extracting the data files of
commander keen shareware (for something similar to game-data-packager under
Fedora), but it works with wolf3d's shareware .shr file too.

It just needs to get compiled and linked against -ldynamite. The file name for
the resulting binary should probably get called dynamite-shr or similar.

I can provide an NMU patch for your convenience, if you mind.

Bonus points for getting this integrated upstream. :)

Cheers,
Fabian
