Although I'm not sure what went wrong with the networking functionality, I recommend you upload 1.9.3 anyway. It has had much rework in the "reading mode" area (formerly "(don't) suspend timers when inactive), to make the whole thing a lot more understandable. And in our experience, there are many more users of "reading mode" than there are of the networking functionality. So I guess overall you users will be happier with 1.9.3
